Announcer:  You're listening to The Doctor Is In Podcast, brought to you by MartinClinic.com. During the episode, the doctors share a lot of information. As awesome as the info may be, it is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any disease. It's strictly for informational purposes.

Dr. Martin:  Well, good morning everyone, and once again, welcome to another live this morning. Hope you're having a great start to your day. We sure appreciate you guys when you can come on here. Okay, let's just do a couple of studies. Let's look at one. We talked about this last week on autism, but this is a new study on treatment of autism. So when you have an autistic child, okay, here's what this study says to do, not a cure. Okay? It's not a cure, but here's what this study has said. Giving daily doses to an autistic child, the vitamin D and DHA, have you heard of that before? Okay. Vitamin D and DHA shows, okay, let me read the study. Noticeable improvements in irritability and hyperactivity in young children with autism gets better. Is it cured? Of course not. Okay, but giving high DHA and vitamin D.

Now, I would add one more because this is what I used to do in my office. Whenever I saw autism, I saw a lot of it, by the way, a lot of kids on the spectrum and a lot of autistics, some very severe. I always got the parents to do three things and they were deficient. It wasn't like I was guessing they were deficient, very deficient in vitamin D. I recommended it very deficient in DHA Omega-3. I recommended it and always, always, always, never an exception. Did I find an autistic child that didn't have leaky gut always. They were full of yeast, fungus, candida all the time without exception, and so I would deal with that. I would deal with that. Those are the main three things. Often too. I would give them navit all because it crossed the blood-brain barrier and with an effective treatment and with as much food counseling as I could give the parent that eggs, meat, and cheese were the best things for that child, okay?

Sugar as much as possible was to be avoided as much as possible, but study this study is showing that vitamin D daily doses of, and this is small amount, 2000 I use of vitamin D and a small amount of DHA compared to what I liked. I think they had it at 600 milligrams of DHAI like about 3000 even in a trial for therapeutic doses. Okay? Now, we talked about autism and the cause of it, and this is why I always said that the biggest thing that happens in an autistic child is leaky gut. Leaky gut, leaky brain, fungal, and with the transport of heavy metals into the brain, that's what yeast does. It's a carrier of mercury, lead, cadmium, and toxins. Okay? So leaky gut, leaky brain. One of the biggest issues we talked about and have talked about is the use of antibiotics. Mummy, during pregnancy or just before pregnancy, taking antibiotics, a child with antibiotics, and we talked about this last week too, the effect of Tylenol because acetaminophen destroys glutathione.

What is glutathione? Velcro. Your body produces Velcro to go after heavy metals, but what if your glutathione is low? Yep. That's what happens. Anyway, all of the above in autism. Hey guys, we better deal with it because autism is, what is it? Now, I've read different things, different statistics, but they're all frightening, and that is like I've seen one out of 18, one out of 23, 1 out of 30 children, one out of 50 children born. That's incredible. Guys are autistic. And remember in the 1970s when I graduated in 1974, I never even heard of autism, okay? I'm sure there was probably some cases of it, but if there was, I never read about it, and I never even read or studied autism until, I'm going to say 1979 where I heard about it. I mean that guys, okay? We live in a different world today, and part of it is because of the toxic soup in which we live. No doubt about that. How do those heavy metals get into the brain? Leaky gut. If we're surrounded by all these toxins, how do they get into the brain that affects the brain? Leaky gut, and fungus, yeast.

This is an article I won't comment to. We already talked about it, really? How Chemicals, okay, this is just an article, how chemicals are making us fat and sick. Well, we talked about autism, and the other thing is that we have put estrogen on steroids. Yeah, we put estrogen on steroids. Why? Because all these chemicals, all these pesticides, all these household products, furniture, I was reading, let me read it to you. I think I have it right here. Chewing gum, for heaven's sakes, you get microplastics in gum. Is there anything we can do to get away from it? Nah. Okay. Not unless you're planning to go with Elon Musk to outer space, because if you live on this planet, if your address ends with planet Earth, just understand you're surrounded. You live in a toxic soup, but just the way it is, guys, and don't shoot yourself and don't even leave the planet before time, okay?

Protect yourself. Protect yourself, and one of the best things you can do is empty your liver, empty it, keep your liver squeaky clean. How do you do that? Doc? Well lay off the sugars and lay off the crappy carbs and those bad oils. You know why? Because that'll gum up your liver and your liver is your detox organ, numero uno, okay? And that's the biggest thing because then you're producing glutathione, lots of it, and glutathione is Velcro and Velcro will attach itself to yeast toxins, and it's a master antioxidant. Your body makes it. That's why. Another reason I love natal and I put kids on natal is because natal elevates your glutathione. It does, yeah. And elevates your nitric oxide for your blood brain barrier. Okay? That was a study on autism, a daily dose of vitamin D. Oh, the sun. The sun. Oh, there's so many studies on vitamin D.

There's so many new ones. This is an article, but taking studies on vitamin D, the sun, sun, steak and steel. You guys heard it here, add some. Do I ever stop talking about the sun? Steak? Steel, right? Vitamin E, okay, on this one, it says, if you're not getting in the sun, okay, not if you're getting in the sun because that's mainstream medicine, okay? Oh, the sun, it don't kill you. The sun will give you cancer, the sun, and you know how many people believe that? Unbelievable amounts of people, but you know what they're saying in this study, okay? Looking at a combination of studies, okay? You know what their conclusion is? If you are not getting in the sun and good luck if you live in Canada in the winter, okay? I don't know about climate change. I don't know about climate change, but I know one thing in Northern Ontario, the climate changes, but we get a lot of winter, like a lot of it, and we're still getting it.

It's April fools, meaning that if you live in Norton, Ontario, don't be fooled. Winter ain't over yet. Quite unbelievable. But anyway, here's what the study said. If you're not getting in the sun, it's worse than smoking, you might as well be smoking. Can you imagine something I've been saying for 50 something years? Get in the sun. The sun won't kill you. The sun will save you Vitamin D. Linus Pauling won a Nobel prize on vitamin C, and he wasn't talking about coffee, he was talking about the other vitamin C, ascorbic acid. I loved Linus Pauling. I thought he was a genius, but I always said this, even in the seventies, you know what I said? He only missed out by one letter in the alphabet. Yeah, he was talking about the importance of vitamin C, which it is, okay? Now, he didn't know about the real vitamin C coffee, but he missed out by one letter in the alphabet because he wasn't talking about vitamin D, and he should have been, and I was right about that vitamin D, and you know what?

If your vitamin D levels are low, you might as well be smoking. That's what the studies are saying. The same thing happens in smoking. You know what smoking does, guys? Is there anything good about smoking? Is there any doctor left in the world? Any doctor that would tell you? You know what I think you need to do? You need to start smoking now. They used to say that nine out of 10 doctors choose camel cigarettes. Guys, if you think science is settled, okay, remember what the science was in the 1940s, in the 1950s. Here, have a cigarette. It's good for you. You'll cough out all your toxins.

Okay, well, that's stupid. Well, guys, you know what else is stupid? When doctors today tell you to get out of the sun and to wear sunscreen, that's stupid because they're showing when they look at all the studies of vitamin D, all of the studies that have come out, I always used to tell people when they tell me one thing negative above the sun, I said, I got 150 studies to show you the benefits of the sun, including your skin, including melanoma. And they go, what? Melanoma. That'll kill you. It's a skin cancer caused by the sun. No, it's not. It's a skin cancer. All right? And it's the worst of all skin cancers, but it's caused by the lack of sun. The sun. If your levels of vitamin D aren't good, you might as well be smoking. I flagged that article and I just go, holy moly, I like that.

Well, I like it because it's true, and it's hard to convince people today they got stuff in their craw. It's like cholesterol. It's hard to change people's opinions on cholesterol. I am so worried about my cholesterol. Well, me too. I'm worried about cholesterol. I'm worried it's too low. It's the opposite of what you think, not you guys. My audience. Now, guys, know better. You guys are smarter. You guys, listen, Linda, you listen, and they put all this conglomerate of studies and they said, if your vitamin D is low and you don't get in the sun, which is the best way to get vitamin D, by the way, you might as well be smoking. You got a loaded gun pointed right at you when you don't have enough vitamin D. Crazy. Okay, I got time to do, okay. This is a farming ham study. Again, the studies on vitamin D, they took a meta analysis of the studies of vitamin D and said, if your vitamin D is low and you don't get in the sun, you might as well be smoking.

Here's another one, but this one is on cholesterol. They looked at all the studies without any preconceived ideas. If anything, they figured we look at all the studies on cholesterol, we're going to find a link to heart disease. You know what they found? Just the opposite. That's what they found. Okay? This is a review, okay? The more cholesterol you have, the longer you live, the more cholesterol you have, the longer you live and you go to your doctor's office and they scared the living life out of you. Just yesterday, somebody's commenting on our private Facebook group. I went to my doctor and my doctor scared the life out of me. Dr. Martin, I'm so confused. Help me.

Well, you're not my patient, so I can't give you personal advice. I can only tell you what my experience is, and I can only tell you the studies that have been done really without prejudice. These studies are looking at all the studies on cholesterol, and they go Here, here's one for you. The higher your cholesterol, the longer you live. Holy moly. Okay? Number one, okay, I wrote it down in 2021. This is one of the studies that was part of the conglomerate. Australian researchers said this, increased cholesterol lowers your risk of diabetes. Yeah. Well, let me tell you one thing. You know what? One of the major side effects of statin drugs is? You know what statin drugs are, right? Cholesterol lowering medications, okay? You know what one of the issues is with cholesterol lowering medication, diabetes, especially in women, women start taking a statin drug. Crestor, Zocor, Lipitor, okay, no more. No, that's not a drug.

Okay? Whenever you see, or usually it's a statin drug, okay? Lipitor, zocor, Crestor, and they lower your cholesterol. Okay? And the research in Australia says the lower your cholesterol is, the higher your risk of diabetes. While, holy moly, who knew? Okay, research. Here's one of them that they looked at research at Texas a and m says, if your cholesterol is higher, you're stronger. Why? Because cholesterol makes up a big part of every cell in your body. Muscle cells, heart cells, eye cells, bone cells. You need cholesterol. God don't trust you. You guys know this statement. You know my statements. Here's one, God don't trust you. Your body produces 85% of the cholesterol you need. God is only depending on you to eat 15% of it. Eggs, meat, and cheese, and cholesterol, by the way, is only found in the animal kingdom. Why are plants, fruits and vegetables?

You see it all over tv. I was in an office yesterday and it said, keys to hell, fruits and vegetables right at the top. And I wanted to, but I said, Tony, shut up. I wanted to go and change the sign. How did fruits and vegetables get at the top of the food chain? Okay, how did they get there? Well, when cholesterol became the enemy, number one, go back a long way. I watched it happen in my lifetime where cholesterol was made public enemy number one. Well, then fruits and vegetables that have no cholesterol went to the top of the food chain and grains. You need grains right at the top of the food chain. It's so good for you and meat man, bad. Why cholesterol? It's acidic. It's not good for you. Eggs, ah, be careful. Cholesterol, cheese. Well, look at the fat and cholesterol and doctors who know nothing about nutrition still today tell you, well, you better cut back on eggs, meat and cheese.

Dr. Martin, he's a quack. Why are you listening to him? He's a nutcase. That may be true, but I'm right. 2021, Australian researchers increased cholesterol. Lower diabetes researchers at Texas a and m increased cholesterol, muscle gain. Dutch researchers increased cholesterol protects your brain from declining. Guys, the more cholesterol you got up here, the better your brain operates, the better your memory operates, the less chance and risks that you have of dementia. It's one of the biggest reasons I'm telling you. As people got away from eating eggs, meat and cheese, the way they should, they affect the brain. I'm telling you, it's craziness. Okay? Dutch researchers showed us that one finally combined research of US, Japan, Sweden, England, Ireland found lower cholesterol equals higher risk of death, overall mortality. Mainstream medicine has not got the memo. Your dietician hasn't got the memo. And guys, you know what it pains me to say this? A lot of naturopaths haven't got the memo on that they're not taking enough nutrition in school and they buy the lie of lowering your cholesterol. Yeah. Go ahead and lower it if you want to die young. Okay? I'll leave it at that.

Okay, guys, we love you dearly and sincerely, and we got a great week coming up. Okay, great week coming up. Lots of studies, lots of things to talk about. Okay? And Friday is what? Q and A, Q and A. Talk to you soon.
